History

Posh Nails is a business specializing in nail care. Founded by Catherine Ilacad back in the year 2002 and has been thriving ever since. Some of the biggest stars in the show business have been selected as endorsers for this brand including Anne Curtis, Carla Abellana, Yassi Pressman, and more. There is no doubt that Posh Nails is well-known here in the country. Posh Nails now has a total of 33 branches nationwide to offer you different services from manicures to foot spas. Today, besides focusing solely on offering services to people, you could also now purchase different products from them. Posh Nails now offers nail kits, nail wraps, and foot and hand products so that you could still get pampered even in the comfort of your own home.




What process was undertaken to create this business?

The process of starting Posh Nails various research methods were done. We tried every salon that had foot spas, manicures, and pedicures to know where Posh Nails can position itself in the market. We also got pointers from the internet where advisors in the nail salons who can give their thoughts on starting a nail salon in the Philippines. She also bought and read books regarding manicures, pedicures, natural nail care etc. It took 2 months for getting Posh Nails into the market with the help from her father getting a space

What inspired Ms Cat Ilacad to create the business?

There is no concept of a nail salon like posh nails. A place concentrating on nails. Miss Cat Ilacad was inspired in doing this business for women who are tired and wanted to get away from reality for 30 minutes to an hour of relaxation and pampering and go back their busy lives.

Posh Nails is a home-grown brand that started in 2002 where it was a small company and after 17 years we now have 35 branches all over the Philippines. The following branches:

Metro Manila
Most of sm malls
Ayala vertis North
Mall of Asia (MOA)
Top branch is in Iloilo, Baguio, Dagupan and two in Cebu
Really all over in the Philippines
